Hal Elrod says the way you start your morning sets the tone for your entire day—and by extension, your life. He calls his method the S.A.V.E.R.S., a simple 6-step routine you do first thing in the morning to fuel your body, mind, and spirit.


Here’s What S.A.V.E.R.S. Stands For:

  • Silence – Meditate, breathe, or just sit quietly and NOT check your phone.

  • Affirmations – Speak out your goals and intentions like you mean it.

  • Visualization – Picture your dream life (then go out and build it).

  • Exercise – Get the blood pumping—even if it’s just a 5-minute stretch.

  • Reading – A few pages of something inspiring, no doomscrolling allowed.

  • Scribing – AKA journaling: brain-dump your thoughts, dreams, and to-do list.


But I’m Not a Morning Person…


Neither was Hal. He wrote this after a near-death experience, financial collapse, and later stage 4 cancer—so if he can crawl out of that funk with a 6am smile, you can too.
