RDA vs Therapeutic Dosing Guidelines

A practical guide to using your OligoScan results to move from deficiency correction to long-term nutrient balance.

OligoScan Minerals: RDA vs Functional & Therapeutic Ranges

  • 🟢 Functional = maintenance / long-term

  • 🟡 Therapeutic = use shorter term, usually 2-3 months

  • 🔴 Therapeutic = use longer term, usually 4-6 months, then reassess

How to use this chart:
Use your OligoScan results to decide whether to stay in the functional range or move into the therapeutic range. If a nutrient is yellow, use the therapeutic range short-term. If it is red, stay in the therapeutic range longer, then reassess and return to the functional range when balanced.
