Muscle Testing
Muscle testing, also known as Kinesiology, lets us ask for answers to true or false questions. We are asking our subconscious mind for information that it already knows and wants to share with us. This is ancient knowledge which was finally put on paper back in the 1940s. The basic premise is that a true answer makes our muscles test strong, and a false answer makes our muscles test weak.
Aren’t you glad you don’t have to remember to breathe every second of the day? Keep your heart beating? Regulate levels of sugar in your blood? Our autonomic nervous system regulates these and a million more things in our body every second of every day. We don’t have to consciously think about any of them. You can compare one cell of your body to a modern aircraft carrier, with planes ready to take off and land, and thousands of people all doing their own complicated jobs. We have trillions of cells in our body which ALL work together!

Our subconscious mind knows everything that is going on in our body, and it knows what nutrients we need and what injuries we have. It also remembers every event that ever happened in our life! We only use 40% of our brain for conscious thought…the other 60% is busy running the rest of us. This is like the tip of an iceberg…most of what we know is the part beneath the surface.
“Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” -Matthew 7:7-8

Who can learn how to do muscle testing? Really, anyone, if they want to. Approach it with an attitude of gratitude and thankfulness. Be patient. Trust yourself and the process.

What methods can I use? There are many different methods, and they can all be successful. The Sway Test, the Pendulum, the Ring in Ring, or the Outstretched Arm all work well. The key is to find one or two methods that work for you, and then practice and perfect them.
What can I ask? Questions need to be in YES or NO format.
Start practicing by just saying YES, and then NO, and feel the difference.
Say, “My name is _______,” and then, “My name is (someone else’s name).
Say the word LOVE, and then the word HATE.
You should get a YES for the first of those three questions, and a NO for the second three questions.

Asking questions that will benefit you (or others) is considered acceptable.
“Should I take (this supplement) today?”
“Do I have an infection in tooth #14?”
“Is my chronic left knee pain related to a trapped emotion?”
“Is my liver meridian voltage in a healthy range?”
What can I not ask? Please don’t ask for frivolous things like winning lottery numbers. This tool is not meant to predict the future, and asking questions like that will only make you slightly neurotic! Asking questions like that may also compromise your ability to use this type of testing.

Can I test other people? Yes, you can test other people, children, or animals by proxy or surrogate. You MUST have permission from the other person, or permission from a parent, caregiver, or animal owner.

Why does this work? We are energetic beings who happen to be living in a physical body. But our bodies have voltages (like an EKG heart monitor), and we can use this flow of energy to get answers from our subconscious mind. Normal circuits in the body flow in a clockwise direction. So if you use a pendulum, YES answers can be a clockwise rotation, and NO can be counterclockwise.

I can’t learn how to do it! It’s not working! Dehydration can affect testing. Drink a glass of water, and then try again. Success in muscle testing also means being open to new information, having reasons for doing it that are larger than yourself, and choosing to work with the energy of love and gratitude. Practice, practice, practice. And if you still find yourself unsuccessful, perhaps you need to have someone else clear a few blocked emotions in yourself first. Contact dawn@vigeohealth.net to talk about it.

How will this benefit me (or my friends and family)? Up to 90% of chronic pain may just be a blocked or trapped emotion or imbalance in your body that your subconscious mind already knows how to fix. Ask! The answer may surprise you. Expect nothing yet hope for miracles.

How to Test My Meridians?
You can use muscle testing to measure the polarity of your body circuits (meridians). Every organ system and meridian circuit has a Scalar field that should be spinning clockwise. Certain locations on our midline are connected with each of those circuits. When we touch, point to, or think about these locations while holding a pendulum, the pendulum will spin to indicate the rotation of that circuit. This is the easiest way of measuring our polarity. You can learn to do it each morning to check in with your body and check your overall health.

Gallbladder - Crown of Head
Autonomic Nervous System - Forehead just above Eyebrows
Lung/Large Intestine - Indentation at the bottom of the Neck
Heart/Small Intestine - Center of Chest
Stomach/Spleen - Several inches above the Belly Button
Bladder/Kidney - Several inches below Belly Button
Liver - Inside of the Knee

If those circuits spin counterclockwise (or tell you NO with muscle testing), or you have chronic pain, then something in the body needs to be addressed. See the Healing is Voltage page for more information!

You can also test your meridians for a specific voltage rather than just a (-) or (+) response. Ask, "Is my heart meridian greater than -20 millivolts? Less than +5 millivolts? etc." (Keep in mind that (-) millivolts are better for the body than (+) numbers, so the math is backward!)
