How is the OligoScan different from a blood test?
Direct answer
Blood is a transportation system under tight homeostatic control, so it shows what is circulating right now rather than what is stored in tissue. Only about one percent of total body copper is found in blood. The OligoScan reads the intracellular and interstitial compartments instead, which is where minerals are used and where metals accumulate. Compartment comparison table →
